Mr. Young has been a long-term board member and officer of Société and has been involved in investment banking for the chemical and life science industries for over thirty years as the head of Young & Partners and, previously, as the head of the global chemical groups of Lehman, Schroders and Salomon Brothers. Prior to becoming an investment banker, he advised chemical and pharmaceutical companies while with Bain & Co. and was in private equity with J.H. Whitney & Co. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA), New York University (MS) and Yale (BA).
