[Choir] 5 rehearsals left!

Dear Choir,

Alert - counting tomorrow evening, we have exactly 5 rehearsals left 
before our concert.

That's 2 for Stutes and for Thursday-only people, and 3 for Monday-only 
people.

Your attendance and focus are absolutely critical. If you are still 
struggling with "Bohemian Rhapsody" or the madrigals, your use of the 
midi files on my personal drive is also very important.

For those interested /affected - info on solos & new outfits is below.

OUTFITS: 
1) The smaller dress sizes have come in.

2) Ruchika, Liz & Natalia - Robert ordered dress sizes for you that we 
hope will fit better, but we should be prepared to go with what you've 
got for this concert in case the alternatives don't get here in time.

3) Men still missing jackets - they're not here yet; if they're not in 
by the end of the week, we should do some fitting and reserve best-case 
back-ups for you. The department has an emergency stash.

4) Scheduling for dress and pant hemming is underway; if you have new 
items, please be on the alert for requests to come in for measurements. 
The goal is to have all measuring done before Thanksgiving.

SOLOS:
Please note that I'll be hearing people for the solos in "Ev'ry Time I 
Feel the Spirit" and MESSIAH for the next three rehearsals. Music for 
the latter will be available tomorrow; midis for MESSIAH* are on my 
personal drive - http://personal.stevens.edu/~breeves.

*for the tenor solo: listen Messiah 11, Part 2 27
*for the soprano solos: listen about 2/3 of the way through Messiah 05, 
Part 1, 13. This track starts with a Sinfonia and then leads into a 
series of 3 recitatives, often assigned to 3 different singers.

NOTE: solos are open to any singer who can sing them well, so don't 
assume you can't try out if you don't sing soprano or tenor in the 
ensemble.
