 Dear All,

 If you have been coming regularly to rehearsal as per your stated
availability when you joined this semester you can skip this, with my
thanks, EXCEPT for this special observance:

 If for any reason you must be absent on a night when we are expecting
you, CONTACT YOUR SECTION LEADER. By all means, contact me as well. AND,
CONTACT YOUR SECTION LEADER:

 Sopranos: Sarai Cardoza, scardoza at stevens.edu
 Altos: Donna Barden, dbarden at stevens.edu
 Tenors: Mike Cahill, mcahill at stevens.edu
 Tenor/Bari Swings: Peter McCauley, pmccaule at stevens.edu
 Bari/Basses: Howie Allen, hallen at stevens.edu

 Your section leaders, starting tomorrow, will have the completed
attendance sheets. Not me. Them. Put their addresses in whatever device you
use for communications, and CONTACT THEM if an emergency comes up (such as,
for instance, you or a near relative landing in the hospital. Remember, you
neglecting to get started on your homework does not constitute an emergency
that excuses missing Choir. Thank you).

 IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN COMING AS PER YOUR STATED AVAILABILITY: please
decide, right now, if you are in this ensemble or not. I will restate what
I say when I meet all new potential members: the Choir is a team, and you
MUST come to the regular practices. The end. If for any reason you are
unable to do this as agreed, you need to inform me, right now, that you are
not able to participate this semester after all. Otherwise, I expect to see
you in rehearsal starting immediately and on an ongoing basis, as per your
original stated availability. I will not put people up in concerts who are
ill-rehearsed with the rest of the Choir.
