Hi All,

I will be holding auditions for the President's Ensemble on Tuesday, February 17.

The President's Ensemble is a small group of students who sing at special events, many at the request of the President. The group is between 12-16 students at any given time, and designed so that not everyone is needed to sing at all events.

I direct and accompany the group, and we rehearse at various times, depending on everyone's schedule. Any undergraduate student can audition who is not a graduating senior (does not have to be a choir member.)

The audition will consist of singing the Alma Mater (in your respective part), sight-singing the Star Spangled Banner, and possibly sight-singing one other song. You do not need to read music necessarily, but it will help.

Auditions are by appointment - just email me your availability on Tuesday, February 10th between 9am-10pm, and I'll confirm by email your appointment. Auditions will only take 15-20 minutes each. Any questions, let me know - david.zimmerman at stevens.edu<mailto:david.zimmerman at stevens.edu>
