Dear All,

Here are the Saturday calls:

EVENING CONCERT - 7:00 call, onstage, completely dressed (unless you are a commuter, please don't plan to dress at DeBaun). House opens at 7:30; concert starts at 8:00.

AFTERNOON TECH - 2:15 arrive; 5:00 leave (earlier if we can manage it). There will be a 15-20 minute break in there

(President's Ensemble - Dave will be there by 5:00 for you; you have the hall to 5:30).

?

This is a longish rehearsal, so please come fortified (and in comfortable clothes).

It's long because we will be putting instrumentalists & choir together for the first time on "Chichester," "Cantata" continues to need work, and there are volume levels et al we have to deal with on the tech side that can't happen until the entire group is assembled.

Please do what you can before Saturday, re using Brian's midis for "Cantata" (I've pasted in the relevant info below; it was sent Monday night, as well). The better prepared the Choir is for that, the easier our Saturday afternoon is going to be. We'll be putting some serious focus on it tomorrow evening, but of course many of you cannot be there (if you can, please come to DeBaun - you're needed!).

CANTATA MIDIS:

Every part has its own part highlighted as louder vocal sounds over the other parts and accompanying harmonies, which use softer instrumental sounds.

These midis are extremely handy, especially if you follow with your music. I'm again providing timings, to help with that (below). Please note that these timings are different from the those I sent for the original MP3, as Brian has slowed some tempi for clarity.

There are a few things that are inaccurate only because I switched around who's singing what, but there are very instances of that.

Please do use these midis a few times! Chances are it will greatly speed our work.
