Subject: [Members] Come Audition for Schoolhouse Rock Live!!

Theta Alpha Phi would like to invite you to audition for our upcoming show, Schoolhouse Rock Live! The performances will be on October 13th & 14th. We will be holding open auditions on Wednesday, August 30th from 4-8pm at DeBaun Auditorium. All Stevens alumni, students and staff are welcome to audition!

To audition, please e-mail Kathy at katherina.imperial at gmail.com<mailto:katherina.imperial at gmail.com> to reserve a time slot. We ask that you prepare 32 bars of a song of your choice, preferably from Schoolhouse Rock Live! (list below) We will have the score to provide accompaniment. If you are unable to audition on August 30th, but are interested, please e-mail Kathy to let her know that you're interested, and we'll arrange for an alternate date/time.

If you are interested in tech and working backstage, please e-mail Kathy as well. The first production meeting is slated for next week. Also, even if you have performed in a TAP show before, we ask that you audition again so we can run songs with you from the actual show.

Synopsis:
A pop culture phenomenon comes to the musical stage in Schoolhouse Rock Live! The Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar, math and more through clever, tuneful songs is not only making a small-screen comeback, it's lighting up stages everywhere.
Schoolhouse Rock Live! follows Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music
