Subject: Spring Voice Recital info and invitation (4pm Saturday 4/17 - tomorrow!)

Dear Singers!

Many of you are on tomorrow's 4:00 streamed recital - thanks for all your work, especially under our adverse (!) circumstances.

I hope everyone, whether on the program or not, will tune in (to answer the obvious question - yes, it will be possible to view the recital later, but not indefinitely).

Go to DeBaun.edu/DeBaunPAC for a link to the stream. There will also be a link for downloading the program.

My general pre-performance etiquette guidelines aren't A Thing here in pandemic times, but as I also provide performance order in advance, behold our combo of art song, opera, operetta, and Broadway:

  1. Jennifer Searing: Till There Was You, by Wilson

  2. Max Cool: Ständchen, by Schubert

  3. Stacy Shang: Se tu m’ami, by Parisotti

  4. Sean Willemann: Beau Soir, by Debussy

  5. Daniel Cesare: Ti guarderò nel cuore, by Oliviero, Ortolani & Ciorciollini

  6. David Staronka: Sonntag, by Brahms

  7. Julia Wierzbicki: Think of Me, by Andrew Lloyd Webber

  8. Max Cool: La Serenata, by Tosti

  9. Daniel Cesare: Plaisir d’amour, by Martini

  10. Abby Hulse: I don’t need a roof, by Andrew Lippa

  11. Derek Petti: The Greatest Star of All, by Andrew Lloyd Webber

  12. Dana McGuire: Let it Go, by Lopez/Anderson-Lopez

  13. Abby Hulse: Oh! Quante volte, by Bellini

  14. Joshua Ronai: A Wand’ring Minstrel I, by Gilbert & Sullivan

  15. Dana McGuire: Almost Real, by Jason Robert Brown

  16. Abby Hulse: Vanilla Ice Cream, by Bock & Harnick

I'll be introducing each piece live, as per our usual practice (many thanks to Carl, who will be flipping all the switches). There will be a comments stream to cheer one another on.

A special congratulations to all for whom this will be their final performance as students at Stevens. Abby, Dana, Daniel, Max, and Sean - you will be missed! Thank you for all the music over the years. 🙂

Warmly,
Bethany Reeves
