Join GAPIMNY, Q-WAVE, and SALGA for an annual town hall for all LGBT and
Queer AAPIs to come together, discuss the issues which face our
community, and set the agenda for the coming year. Find out about our
current collaborative initiatives and help us chart a new year of
community building. We will be discussing political engagement,
visibility/coming out, diversity/community education, and more. If you
have any suggestions regarding discussion topics, you can tell us

Last Call for Lunar New Year Parade Drummers<br>
Do you want to do poongmul (Korean drumming) in the Lunar New Year Parade
this year? Do you identify as either a community member or an ally to
LGBTSTGNCQ and Asian/Pacific Islander/Americans? The 2013 Lunar New Year
Parade is on Sunday, February 17th and you are invited to be a part of
the poongmul troupe!<br><br>
The 2013 Lunar New Year Parade is a great opportunity for
LGBTQTSGNC-identified Asian/Pacific Islander/Americans and their allies
in NYC to meet each other, learn a new skill and build community in a fun
and laid back environment. Beginners welcome!<br><br>
Weekly practices will be starting on Thursday, January 24th!<br><br>
