The UBS Atrium Series is presented by the Hudson Riverfront Performing Arts
Center, Inc., a New Jersey nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the
arts in North Jersey and to building a regional performing arts center on
the Weehawken waterfront. 

These monthly lunchtime concerts are free of charge and open to the general

Aaron Diehl is one of the finest jazz pianists of his generation. His
distinctive interpretations of the music of Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton,
Art Tatum, Duke Ellington, and other masters, pay homage to their great
traditions while establishing his own original voice.

Mr. Diehl has performed with the Wynton Marsalis Septet, the Jazz at Lincoln
Center Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Benny Golson, Hank Jones,
Wycliffe Gordon, and Victor Goines, among many others, and has been featured
on Marian McPartland's NPR radio show Piano Jazz. His international touring
has included major European jazz festivals as well as performances in South
America and the Far East. In addition to his Mozart Jazz CD, he has recently
released Live at Caramoor, from his solo performance at that prestigious
festival in the summer of 2008. A new trio album, entitled Live at the
Players, will be released soon.
