Dear Faculty, Colleagues & Students,

On behalf of the Undergraduate Admissions Office, I would like to thank you for your involvement in either the President’s Reception or Accepted Student Day.  This weekend was a great achievement, and we could not have pulled off such impressive events without the support of all of you.  It really takes a village to make this happen, and I’m happy to share some of the results and feedback we’ve received from this weekend.   Overall, we had over 2,200 people come to campus on either Saturday or Sunday.  There were almost 750 students on campus, and of those students, 300 have already decided to enroll at Stevens next year.  The following highlights some of the great feedback we received on social media:

We still have 10 days until the May 1st deposit deadline, but I can say that the support of the students, staff, and faculty during this day has made a tremendous impact on our prospective students.   We couldn’t have made this day the success that it was without your help!

As we complete the Admissions cycle, I also wanted to let you know about a staffing update here in the Undergraduate Admissions Office.  Sheena Ramirez, our Campus Experience Manager, will be moving on to a new admissions position at James Madison University in their College of Visual & Performing Arts.  For any inquiries moving forward, I will be the liaison to our faculty and staff until we hire her replacement.  Sheena has been at Stevens since 2010, and we wish her success in her transition.

We look forward to bringing in the next class of #Futureducks to Stevens.  Thank you for your support, both now and in the future, and we look forward to working with you again at other recruitment events!​
