THE STEVENS JAZZ BAND & CONCERT BAND (below)


Welcome! The Jazz and Concert Bands are part of DeBaun Performing Arts Center, along with the Stevens Choir and Orchestra, various associated smaller ensembles, theatre and other performing arts projects,, and the Ondrick Music Room rehearsal space.


Please note that DeBaun PAC is distinct from the academic Music & Technology program in HASS (the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences).

The Jazz Band

The Jazz Band is a big-band style ensemble playing jazz classics, sometimes with singers.


Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings, 6:30-9:00pm. The first rehearsal in Fall 2023 will be on Weds Sept 6.


WHERE: the Ondrick Music Room on the 4th floor of Howe Center.


Bring your instrument and be ready to play! (if you don’t have an instrument, come anyway and talk to Jerry - he may be able to help out).


Note: student-led jazz combos can and do form under Jerry’s ultimate supervision. Rehearsal space can be reserved in the Music Room by contacting Dr. Bethany Reeves, breeves at stevens.edu<mailto:breeves at stevens.edu>.

Concert Band

The Concert Band plays a varied repertoire including band classics and band arrangements of symphonic works, film & video game scores, and more.


Rehearsals are Sunday evenings, 6:00-8:30pm. The first rehearsal will be on Sunday Sept 10.
