don’t have much experience with Orbi, but the guys who use <SPAN
class=123302917-20042010>it </SPAN>in our group says that you can get mass
accuracy easily up to 2-3ppm. Now you can buy a lower grade of OrbiTrap for much
less price. They say resolution of it is <SPAN
class=123302917-20042010>about </SPAN>20,000-50,000 vs 100,000 for the top of
the line one. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

know you are very familiar with Xcalibur, like Chang said I like MasLynx and
MasLynx is much more interactive than Xcalibur.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

have Synapt G2 I think it is little cheaper than new Orbi. Mass accuracy is same
with the lock mass you get <5ppm. Advantage with G2 you can have different
sources like APPI, MALDI with it and the IMS capability.</SPAN></P>
