Hi Everyone,

On Saturday, April 12th, prior to the performance, many of the cast and crew
of the 1988 Stevens Dramatic Society production of "The Mystery of Edwin
Drood" will be gathering for dinner at Court Street. Those that RSVP'd
include the alums who played Rosa Budd, Rev. Crisparkle, Jasper, Helena
Landless, the Chairman, the Deputy, and Edwin Drood.

I, personally, was a Stevens student at that time, and "Drood" was the first
show I musically directed, as well as being Master Carpenter and Set
Designer. Carl Russell, now DeBaun's Technical Director, handled Properties
and worked on crew for "Drood". It was a very special production for those
who were involved, and we all have very fond memories of the show and
production. We were also rewarded in the end with nearly sell-out,
recording-breaking crowds on Friday and Saturday evenings.

>From all of us to all of you, we wish you the best of luck in your
production! We also hope the 2008 cast and crew will join us after the
performance on April 12th to meet the 1988 cast and crew. A post-show
dessert reception will be held in Room E130, outside the backstage door of
DeBaun.

Thanks, break-a-leg, and hope to see you on April 12th!
-Dave
