Department of Technology & the Arts new Theatre Minor - something many of

Theatre Minor class offerings to begin Fall 2010.  The first class as part
of DOTA’s new theatre minor is available for enrollment. Introduction to
Theater (HTH 201-EV) will run from 6:15-8:45 pm Thursday nights. The class
will include an overview of the theatre, its history, and its role in
societies from Ancient Greece to contemporary America. The class will focus
on theatre as a collaborative art form and the different professions that
are involved in the medium. Students
will examine how technological innovation has revolutionized and continues
to revolution theatre. The class will attend productions in New York City.
In addition, theatre professionals will visit the class and provide students
with their unique insights based on practical experience. Questions? Contact
