Hi there SDS crew!

We still need 1 male actor for tomorrow's reading series hosted by _gaia in
Frank Sinatra Park.  Please call me ASAP if at all interested.  The Play is
Once Removed and it is about 8 mins long.  No rehearsal is required, just
meeting early to familiarize before the reading (approximately 5:30pm)
 This is a great way to keep up cold reading skills and besides all that
it's going to be fun!  These are great plays!  Even if you're not an actor
come on down and check it out at 6:30pm tomorrow evening if you are free. :)

one-act play readings, written by Jami Brandli, an award-winning
playwright.
Readings organized by Jenny Fersch and Lillian Ribeiro.

Come out to enjoy a night of one-act play readings on the Hudson River with
some very talented folks at the amphitheatre located at Sinatra Park on
Friday, June 1, 2012 at 6:00 pm.

Plays presented include:
Flooding directed by Ginger Kipps
Comedy
B and C try to take a simple drive to a coffee shop. But there's a
problem.  B has a phobia of cars, and C has a phobia of small spaces. As
the two phobics struggle to put the key in the ignition and close the door,
they end up bearing their hearts and falling for each other.

Looking for Bruce directed by Kit Vogelsang
Comedy
After posting her "Lost Cat" flyers all over town, Geraldine finds her
recently estranged house cat, Bruce, on his birthday. During the last ten
days of living on the streets, Bruce has discovered there's more to life
than just Fancy Feast and catnip. Geraldine desperately wants him back, but
Bruce wants her new boyfriend out of the picture first.

Clowning Around directed by Heather Wahl
Comedy
Two women applying for the same low-level job go through extreme lengths to
get it.

Wondrous directed Madeleine Rose Parsigian
Dramedy
In the stockroom of Harry's Supermarket, Dale, the owner’s son, discovers
Shelly, young mermaid with a penchant for light beer, wading in a kiddie
pool.  As a hurricane threatens to destroy the small town, both Dale and
Shelly realize they need each other in order to escape alive.

Moon Man directed by Ginger Kipps
Dramedy
In the middle of the night, Lilith, a difficult widow, is visited by Moon
Man, who has traveled from the moon to keep her company. Although Lilith
tells Moon Man to leave, she is torn between wanting him to actually go and
wanting him to stay. So she calls her son, Frankie, pretending that the
house is on fire. When Frankie arrives, he cannot see Moon Man and finally
reaches the end of his patience with his mother's lying.

The Attic directed by Heather Wahl
Comedy
Moving backwards in time, the relationship between Lucy and Tucker, her
living rag doll, man unfolds in Lucy's attic. Through their relationship,
we also discover the relationships Lucy has with her mother, father, and
husband.

Once Removed directed Madeleine Rose Parsigian
Dramedy
Elliot and Maggie, a married couple diseased with a deep sadness, are
desperate to get back into bed.  But here’s an undeniable bump under the
covers and they are forced to face a recent tragedy.
Come out to enjoy the night on the Hudson River with some very talented
folks.
Bring a blanket or a lawn chair!

Her play,*Technicolor Life,* won the 2010 John Gassner Memorial Playwriting

Playwrights Conference and 2010 Princess Grace Fellowship.   Her play, *The
