[SDS] GBM Reminder, Your Move Modern Dance Festival

Hello all,

I hope that you've all been well. This is to serve as a reminder of our
upcoming GBM on Wednesday. We will be meeting *at 9:00 PM on Wednesday 10/8
in E222.* Please do your best to be on time so that we can dismiss 12AM
actors to rehearsal in a timely manner.

*Your Move: Modern Dance Festival*

The following message is from Carl Russell, regarding a dance festival
coming to Stevens at the end of October:

SDS & TECHnique folks,

At the end of October (performances 10/24-26), our department is
collaborating with Art House Productions to bring modern dance back to our
stage by sponsoring the 'Your Move' modern dance festival, which has run in
Jersey City for the past five years. Twenty different dance companies will
be performing over the three days.

The choreographer/organizers are interested in talking with Stevens student
performing arts groups about the festival and modern dance. If students
from SDS or TECHnique would be interested in chatting with the 'Your Move'
folks, I'd be happy to arrange something, either when you're already
gathering or perhaps around one of the rehearsals at the theater, the week
leading up to the performances.

If you are interested in meeting up with these fine folks, shoot an email
to me, and I will talk it over with Carl, Sean Kelty and other Arts & Music
Groups about setting up the best time for a meetup like this to happen.
I'll get the ticketing information for the festival itself put up on the
[SDS] Campus Performing Arts Calendar soon.
