Hey everyone!

Here's everything you need to know about auditioning for SDS's production
of *Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express! **Be sure to read this
thoroughly, as there is a lot of important information here:*

*When are the Performances?*
There will be *four performances:*

   1. Thursday, November 8 at 9pm
   2. Friday, November 10 at 8pm
   3. Saturday, November 11 at 2pm
   4. Saturday, November 11 at 8pm

If you want to audition, make sure that you are available for all of these
performances.

*When Are Auditions?*
*Auditions* will be held on *Thursday, September 5* and* Friday, September
6 *from* 7-11pm.*
*Callbacks* will be held on *Saturday, September 7* starting at *10am*.

If you audition, *you will be receiving an email on Friday night as to
whether you’ve received a callback*. Be sure to check your email late
Friday night, and if you get a callback, be sure to set your alarm for
Saturday morning!

*Where Are Auditions?*
Auditions (and callbacks) will be held in *DeBaun Auditorium*. Monitors
will be set up outside the theater.

*How Do I Sign Up For Auditions?*
Sign up for a *10-minute time slot* *HERE*
<https://doodle.com/poll/hvdrzkrh9mzd64s8>. Additionally, you can scan the
QR code on the audition posters hanging up around campus, and it will bring
you to this link. *Be sure to write down which time slot you've selected*-
once you close the Doodle, you can't go back to double check. If you need
to confirm your time slot, please email SDS at stevens.edu.

Additionally, *we also accept walk-in auditions. *So if you aren't planning
on auditioning, but you change your mind last-minute, you can still come in
and audition!

*How Do I Prepare for My Audition?*
*The audition monologues can be found HERE
<https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11RFMQqSDeBeI7zoTsmptkICh9pl2XBTX?usp=sharing>.*
Please read over them and select which monologue(s) you'd like to prepare
for your audition. We will have printed copies available for you at the
monitor's table. *NOTE: Not every character in the show has an audition
monologue, so if you're interested in auditioning for a certain character
who doesn't have a monologue, pick the monologue that you think is best
suited for you.*

Please *arrive early to your audition*. We have an *Audition Form
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_bDBRwhjwb588CiOtRrB17Ssa-3O9ZwjSQ_YESSw534/edit?usp=sharing>*
for
you to fill out at the monitor's table before your audition. If you'd like,
you may print it out and complete it yourself ahead of time.

Additionally, we ask that everyone auditioning fills out *this Conflict

<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E4cqWlQo54xVGbrU9VeSHY-GRy82m2sUDft-lNWARL4/edit?usp=sharing>
*before

conflicts for the semester. This conflict sheet will also be available at
the monitor's table.
