[SWE] Sleeping Bag Weekend & Faculty Advisor Meeting Minutes

Sleeping Bag Weekend:
Hey girls!  The annual spring sleeping bag weekend for incoming 
freshmen is going to be Friday, April 11th through Saturday, April 
12th.  We're thinking of trying to get SWE involved by asking 
administration to pair incoming female engineering or undecided majors 
with SWE hosts.  If you would be interested in hosting an incoming 
frosh for this event please reply ASAP with your name, year, major, and 
phone number.

Faculty Advisor Meeting Minutes (Friday 2/29/08):

*Brown Bag Lunch Series:
   -STEP office and office of student life putting together lunch 
seminars
   -SWE would host a seminar on women in executive positions
   -we're looking for volunteers from industry to give the seminars
   -any budgeting available will come from Student Life
   -SWE seminar scheduled for the last Wednesday in March (3/26)
   -seminar series slogan: "breaking stereotypes, building leaders"

*Fundraisers:
   -Game Event
       +e.g. Rockband, Guitar Hero, Karaoke tournament
       +possibly involve Greek network
   -Breast-shaped lollipops
       +proceeds to benefit the triple negative breast cancer 
association or other women's foundation (maybe something local in 
Hoboken)

*start using Rocco 101 as an area to keep SWE supplies
*need to contact student life to clarify direction of SWE mail received 
by the school
*need to hold events where attendance is mandatory for membership in SWE
*need to set up a schedule of regular bi-monthly meetings
*next advisor meeting will tentatively be scheduled for April on a 
Friday at 11AM

   -General Body Meeting to prepare for elections: Wednesday, 3/12 @ 
9:15PM
   -SWE Elections: Wednesday, 4/2 @ 9:15PM
