Hello, my name is Stefannye Barragan and I am currently the Public Relations
Officer for our Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) chapter at
Stevens. I am reaching out to all of you to invite you and inform you about
a Women event being hosted by SHPE, STEP, and the Women's Program called "
Women in Engineering- Doing it Their Way". 

It will be an event to honor the different women within our Stevens
community and all around the world in the Engineering fields. There will be
a panel of Stevens Graduates sharing their experiences, challenges, and
accomplishments, and how Stevens prepared them for the workforce, and as
professionals. It is an event open to everyone to enjoy: It is a great
opportunity to learn about the different majors such as civil, mechanical,
engineering management, chemical, etc. 

When: February 21, 2012

Where: Faculty Club (next to pierce)

Time: 6pm

***Refreshments and snacks will be provided. 

I hope you all can come for this inspirational event to celebrate the 40
years of Women at Stevens
