Hello again SWE!

Things seem to be picking up quickly as the beginning of the school year 
rolls around... see below for an opportunity for some experience and 
mentoring on site at Phillips!


Hi Bridgette!

I work at the Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ. Our Women’s 
Network will be hosting a University Mentoring Day for students from 
Penn State, Rutgers, Cornell, Stevens Institute of Technology, and NJIT 
on Friday September 6 from 10am – 3:30pm – and we’d love for SWE to 
attend! This will be our second time hosting this event, due to the 
extremely positive feedback we received last year.

During the visit, students will receive a day of mentoring from a 
multitude of Phillips 66 employees with a variety of backgrounds. The 
day will be focused on Women’s success in the workplace, and will be a 
great opportunity for students to meet members of the Phillips 66 
Recruiting team. We’d also like to have each student send in their 
resume electronically prior to the event.

We ask that you respond as to whether or not you’ll be able to make it, 
and how many participants will attend, by Friday August 30th end of 
business day (5pm).

Where: Bayway Refinery office building: 1400 Park Ave, Linden, NJ 07036

When: Friday, September 6, 2013, 10am – 3:30pm

Who: All your members are welcome to join, however, our company mainly 
focuses on Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil / Environmental 
Engineers

Unfortunately Phillips 66 will not be able to provide transportation 
from your school to our location.
