GBM Follow-up

Join a Committee
If you were unable to attend the first meeting or had to leave early, please sign up for one of these committees by emailing swe at stevens.edu
Professional Development: Organize and host professional development events and programs with companies, other professional organizations and professional workshops and panels.
K-12 Outreach: Reach out to girls in grades K-12 to get them excited about STEM.
Social Committee: Organize social events and meet-ups with other SWE chapters.
Fundraising: Brainstorm ideas for sponsored events, as well as suggest and organize fund drives.

Public Relations Co-Chair
There is one spot open for PR Co-Chair. If you are interested email swe at stevens.edu and tell us why you are interested. Some of the PR Co-Chair responsibilities are:
* Post upcoming events on social media
* Create content for the SWE Instagram/Facebook
* Create flyers for upcoming events

Join us for our second GBM of the semester. Professional SWE NJ Region members will be attending and will provide advice and mentorship. This is a great networking opportunity! We will also discuss committee progress and upcoming events.

NYIBF program
The New York Institute of Business and Finance is offering a 3 week Business & Finance Program in December in NY. "This programs are three weeks of high-level classes held in New York. Mornings are dedicated to classes, and on afternoons, we organize visits of institutions such as the Federal Reserve of New York and Corporate Visits in top companies." "The summer program allows participants to learn about career opportunities in public service at the New York Fed. The program is a direct feeder for the Bank’s full-time analyst and associate rotational programs. Applications for the 2017 summer internship program are now open.
