The Hack(H)er413 team invites you to their 2021 hackathon taking place on February 13th, 2021! Hosted annually by students at UMass Amherst, Hack(H)er413 is the first all-women and non-binary student hackathon in Western Massachusetts. This year their event is taking place virtually over the course of 8 hours on February 13th, where hackathon participants learn and develop new technical skills through informative workshops, network with sponsor company representatives, and meet other tech-minded students. FREE for all participants, while they will not be hosting a project contest for this year, they’re super stoked to be able to host a larger and more diverse cohort of amazing hackers from all around the world.

Hello Society of Women Engineers at Stevens,


My name is Yuri and I'm part of the organizing team for Hack(H)er413, the first all-women and non-binary student hackathon in Western Massachusetts, taking place February 13th, 2021!


Hackathons are free events that encourage participants to learn new technical skills and network with companies. Our 2021 hackathon will be held virtually for the first time ever as a single 8-hour day event that will include tons of useful workshops, great networking opportunities and chances to interview with sponsors! While we will not be hosting a project contest for this year’s event, the virtual environment will allow for students from all over the U.S. (and possibly beyond!) to attend the hackathon.


Hack(H)er413 is open to all-women and non-binary students interested in technology and innovation, regardless of major, coding background, age, or experience. We are trying to inform as many students as possible of this unique and exciting event.


We would love to inform your organizations’ students about our hackathon! Please let us know the best way to outreach to your students. We would greatly appreciate it if you could send an email to your students informing them of Hack(H)er413 and applications opening for which we can provide you with a blurb and informational image.
