To be eligible to serve as a Regional Liaison, the applicant must be an
AIChE Student Member of the region of which they are applying. To serve as
an International Liaison, the applicant does not need to belong to the
International Region. The term of incoming RL’s will begin shortly after May
1, 2018 and end on May 1, 2019.

Dear Student Chapter Leaders and Advisors,

We are excited to announce that the Executive Student Committee (ESC) of
AIChE is currently accepting applications for Regional Liaison positions
for the 2018-2019 academic year. *Please share the following information
with members of your Student Chapter.*

The ESC is one of the 23 Global AIChE committees. We are a student-led
committee that serves all student members of AIChE. More specifically, the
ESC seeks to help grow and improve student chapters, support inter-chapter
communication, and serve as the liaison between student chapters and the
Institute.  Additionally, we host the Presidents Meetings at the Annual and
Regional Student Conferences.

The ESC is comprised of Regional Liaisons (RL’s) representing the Regions
of AIChE Student Chapters. Regional Liaisons correspond with approximately
4-6 Student Chapters in his or her Region. RL’s are to assist Student
Chapters, address any problems that may arise, and serve as a liaison
between the Student Chapters and the Region’s Chair.

To be eligible to serve as a Regional Liaison, the applicant must be an
AIChE Student Member of the region of which they are applying. To serve as
an International Liaison, the applicant does not need to belong to the
International Region. The term of incoming RL’s will begin shortly after
May 1, 2018 and end on May 1, 2019.

Serving as a Regional Liaison provides leadership opportunities through
working with Student Chapters, builds your professional network, and
reflects well on resumes. Regional Liaisons have the ability to connect
with and influence multiple Student Chapters.
