[ConcertBand] Every Voice Counts

Hi Everyone,

This is a GREAT that could earn money for the Concert Band! See the attached
for more details, or contact Tori O'Connor (info below) if you have any
questions. If you are interested in doing this, sign up and let me know as
well.

Let your voice be heard! 

On Wednesday, March 23rd there will be an event called Every Voice Counts,
during which students will compete for cash prizes of $800, $400, and $200.
This event allows students to find an issue within society (such as the
levels of state aid for college students), research the issue, and present a
possible solution. This will all be pulled together in a display that will
be showcased on:

Date: Wednesday, March 23rd
Time: 1:00 - 3:30pm
Place: Babbio Atrium
Sign up deadline: Monday, March 7th

Please see the attachment for possible topic suggestions and directions on
how to sign up, or email Tori O'Connor at voconnor at stevens.edu. The deadline
to sign up is approaching fast, so sign up asap!
 
Participants must be a student or group of students that represent a
Stevens' group, club, organization, or team.  There can only be one
participant (individual or group) representing a Stevens' organization.  The
cash prize will go toward that organization and can be used towards the
endeavor of the organization's choosing.
