The premiere of SDS's virtual production of Godspell, is almost here!!! We will be streaming this production through ShowTix4U on Friday, April 23rd at 8pm, and Saturday, April 24th at 2pm & 8pm! Godspell follows a small group of people who help Jesus Christ tell different parables through games, storytelling, and comedy. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as Jesus' life dances across the (now virtual) stage. The cast and crew have put in lots of very hard work in creating this production, so we hope that you come out and support your friends in showcasing some great virtual theatre! Furthermore, if you are on campus, there will be an opportunity to view the production on Palmer Lawn! You can view the poster (attached to this email) as well for the streaming dates and outdoor viewing opportunities.

NOTE that if you are not watching on campus, you must acquire a ticket from ShowTix4U prior to the stream-time to watch. Here are some (fairly) quick steps to getting a ticket! -

  1. Once you do that, you will see three "Scheduled Content" options on a calendar, one for the Friday premiere and the other for the two Saturday premieres. Choose which premiere(s) you'd like to attend, and click the "Buy stream" box corresponding to that premiere.
  2.  Don't fret over the monetary connotation of "purchase" and "buy" - these tickets are free to all!
  3.  Select the number of devices on which you'll be watching the stream (that number is most likely 1). You can also credit your ticket to a cast or crew member, but this is optional. Click "Checkout."
  4.  You'll have the option to provide a donation - while appreciated, this is also completely optional. Click "Checkout" again.
  5.  Enter your email address and first and last name. Click the final "Checkout" button.
  6.  You should see a screen that says "Confirmation" - that means you've successfully obtained your ticket! ShowTix4U will send you an email with a link to the stream and an access code. If you get a ticket by the end of the day tomorrow, the Eboard will send an additional email with the link and code as a reminder.
  7.  NOTE: please only purchase ONE TICKET PER PERFORMANCE! There are some fees on the Eboard's end that we have to pay for tickets purchased, so we don't want to pay unnecessary fees for tickets that end up not being used.
