I can understand how you came to that conclusion, but it is worth noting
that sometimes being different does not necessarily imply inferiority.
It would be great if you analyzed the problems you've encountered and
identified root causes for them before dismissing anything that does not
conform to what you may be used to.  (This is a general "you", not Piotr
in particular.)

Also, sometimes you simply do not have a choice, so being able to
understand differences and still work efficiently is important as well.
