[cs615asa] One script applies for all platforms?

#1 Should we need to write one script per platform or write only one for
all?
The reason I ask this question is that the output format of ifconfig in
each OS is slightly different. (especially linux lab)

#2 FreeBSD instance (AMI Id: ami-23dae94)  report invalid id.
