That depends on your definition of "word".  I'm fine with either and
would be surprised if it even made a difference.  My guess is that any
long word in the text is likely going to be longer than any HTML tag or
JS variable.

Whichever definition you arrive at, make sure to clearly spell it out in
your submission.
