Strategic Uses for Cost Efficient Long-Term Cloud Storage Summary
I want to share what I learned in the meeting for AWS Cost Efficient Cloud.

The storage of AWS is the key part of this system. For Blocks there are
Amazon EBS
Amazon EC2.For File and Objects there are Amazon EFS Amazon S3 and Amazon
Glacier.
And for Cloud Data Migration there are storage Gateway, direct connect,3rd
party connectors and kinesis firehose.

There are a lot of advantage for using efficient way to store the data in
this information
explosion world.Data archiving needs are growing everywhere such as media
asset, health care, financial services regulated industries etc.Data
retained for the long term, for compliance or potential future reference.

For all the reason ,AWS has found some great way to store the data
efficiently.
First of all it enable hybrid cloud storage between on premises
environments and the
AWS Cloud. t combines a multi-protocol storage appliance with highly
efficient network connectivity to deliver local performance with virtually
unlimited scale. Second,The Storage Gateway virtual appliance connects
directly to your local infrastructure as a file server, as a local disk
volume, or as a virtual tape library (VTL). This seamless connection makes
it simple for organizations to augment existing on-premises storage
investments with the high scalability, extreme durability and low cost of
AWS cloud storage.

And for primary storage, AWS provides Amazon Simple Storage Service.Amazon
Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) is object storage with a simple web
service interface to store and retrieve any amount of data from anywhere on
the web. It's simple to move large volumes of data into or out of Amazon S3
with Amazon's cloud data migration options. Once data is stored in S3, it
can be automatically tiered into lower cost, longer-term cloud storage
classes like S3 Standard - Infrequent Access and Amazon Glacier for
archiving.

Thank you for reading.
