[cs615asa] How to read data from device

Hi,

Is anyone know to read data from device? I use dd(1) to try to read the
data, e.g.

# dd if=/dev/xbd3a | od -l

but it just print 0's

Then I tried to create a new volume and wrote some data to it, but it also
print 0's
