Hello,

To ensure you do not waste too much time when you're
stuck, hints are now provided upon request at an
incremental penalty:

A hint to solve level 2 carries a 2 point penalty.
A hint to solve level 3 carries a 3 point penalty.
A hint to solve level 4 carries a 4 point penalty.
A hint to solve level 5 carries a 5 point penalty.

The first team to solve the CtF will get 3 extra
points.  The second team to solve the CtF will get 2
extra points, the third team 1 extra point.

As before, hints are sent out to the mailing list, but
I recommend against sitting back and waiting for
another team to request a hint (it's kind of an
inverse Prisoner's Dilemma), lest you run out of time
on the CtF over all.

Hopefully these changed incentives will let you make
progress when you're stuck.
