For the exit is to exit the current shell, so how about an exit in the Pipeines, such as "ls | exit". When I check the Pipelines in bash, it's saying Each command in a pipeline is executed as a separate process. so is that means the exit will not terminate the shell when in the pipe? Thanks Li.
