[cs631apue] Log problem

Hi, All,

I intend to use the syslog() function to accomplish the logging requirement
in the final project. The problem is that syslog() will automatically send
the log information to /var/log/system.log. To redirect it, I know that it
can be done by modifying the syslogd's config file. But root priviledge is
required to do that. Is there any other way to redirect syslog() ?
