Hello District 3!


Since we last came together as a district, we agreed upon a district
collaboration collectively and with an outside source, Manny from Sony, in
effort to raise money for Typhoon Ketsana and Parma.  Now we turn to you for
help.  Currently, e-board is in talks and we would like to know if there is
an interest in volunteering with this event.  We have set up committees and
we ask you to ask your general body members and e-board if they would like
to participate.  The committees are very similar to FIND Dialogue/Conference
with a few additions.  The committees consist of the following:


- Facilities/Safety
- Entertainment
- Speakers
- Production
- Volunteers
- Website/IT/Graphic Design
- Documentation
- Public Relations
- Finances
- Sponsors and Vendors
- Accommodations
- Registration (Ticket sales, online, pre-sale, and on-site)

If you are interested in becoming a committee head, a member in one of the
aforementioned committees, or just would like to help, even though you don't
know what committee to participate in, we ask that you inform your
respective District 3 representative or president so they can collect names
and preference in committees.  Please send a tally by October 23rd to your
respective District 3 PR (Matt, Lester, or Sarah).  Please remember, that
without your help, this event would not be possible.  Thank you very much!
