Hello Everybody,

It's that time of year again. The weather is taking a turn for the worst.It's dull.It's cold.It's wet.But through all this dreariness there is one bright spark. For us Indians,the weather may be bad but that doesn't change what this period means for us. It's a time of festivity,a time of family and friends, a time to celebrate life itself.Yes folks, Diwali is here.And we the IGSA, take this opportunity to invite you to the 2009 Diwali Celebrations to be hosted on campus on the 13th of November.

Of course ,this year with no exception, needs you, the Indian graduate student populace to participate in order to make the Diwali show a success, just as it has been in the years passed. All students interested in performing during the Diwali show,whether it be a choreographing dance ,singing a song or performing a skit are asked to get in touch the following people in order to register their performances.

Please feel free to get in touch with Nikhil or Richa regarding any doubts or concerns you may have. The point to keep in mind here is that the Diwali show is exactly one month away. This means that everyday counts when it come to rehearsals and preparations. So please come up with ideas for the performances,register and  get to practicing right away.
