[Redshift] RedShift Submission Deadline March 17th & Other Announcements

Hello RedShift,

I hope you are enjoying your Spring Break!

Just reminding you that the *deadline* for submissions for the Spring
2014magazine is in *ONE
week**!*

Send submissions to redshift.submit at gmail.com.

A couple of other announcements:

*Elections*

RedShift's Elections are being held on
*Monday, March 24th.*
Positions are open to anyone!! If you are interested in running for a
position, please *email me by Sunday, March 16th*. The available positions
are below:

*Editor In Chief* - Chairs all meetings and acts as the official
representative of RedShift. Great leadership position for anyone interested
in organizing RedShift's magazine-making timeline, events, and members.

*Managing Editor* -  Acts as VP of the club and fulfills any duties that
the EIC cannot. Great position to learn how the magazine is run. Maintains
communication between the executive board and contributors.

*Publisher* -  Acts as the official representative of RedShift in all
matters relating to the production of the magazine. Maintaining
communications between RedShift and the publishing company.

*Treasurer* - Takes care of all financial matter of RedShift including
making the budget each semester to submit to the SGA and archiving receipts
from events.

*Archivist* -  Archives copies of RedShift in the library each semester,
keeps a current list of contributors and voting members, and fills role of
secretary.

*Iron Artist*

Iron Artist is next *Wednesday, March 19th!* It is Disney themed this
semester, see poster attached.
