Looks good.
One correction - the school name is "Schaefer School of ... and Science",
not "..Sciences."

Dean Bruno,
Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately, Spring Break delayed our work
considerably. In any case, We have prepared two documents, a "promo" letter
explaining the Graduate Student Research Conference 2008 and an invitation
letter to Dr. Vest. We were wondering if you could look at these two
documents and perhaps give your critique about them. Any subtractions and
additions would be extremely helpful.
Thanking you in advance.

Hello Freneil,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
Here are some students:
Ocean Engineering:
Michael DeLorme: Michael.DeLorme at stevens.edu
Ganesh Gopalakrishnan: ggopalak at stevens.edu
I would suggest that you send an email to the following people for the
students in:
Environmental engineering: Prof Christodoulatos,
Christos.Christodoulatos at stevens.edu
Chemical Engineering: Prof Du, Henry.Du at stevens.edu
Copy me on those emails, please.
Re keynote speakers, here are a few thoughts:
National Academy of Engineering:
Eric B. Gans
Public Affairs Coordinator
American Society for Engineering Education <http://www.asee.org/>
202.331.3543 office
202.431.4968 mobile
Email: e.gans at asee.org
Eric might be the best person to start with. Ask if it might be possible to
ask Dr. Vest, the President of the Academy, to come to Stevens. If not, he
might be able to suggest someone.
DARPA:
We have a Program Manager from DARPA who is managing a project in the Ocean
Engineering Dept (Prof Blumberg is responsible for the project). Her name is
Dr. Khine Latt, and her email address is Khine.Latt at darpa.mil
National Science Foundation:
I know a Program Manager in charge of ocean projects. Her projects span
many different fields. See:

Dean Bruno,
We met with you today about planning the Graduate Student Research
Conference (to be held on October 1st 2008). I am writing to remind you to
send me the contact information about potential keynote speakers. Also, if
you could send me e-mails of graduate students from engineering departments
(ocean, environmental, chemical, materials science), I would appreciate it.
Thanking you in advance.
