Dunno. You'll have to ask them. Though, I'd say, "Does it matter?"
Experience working on a team of the highest importance.

Lastly, could this be turned around and count for something in my
curriculum, like some project or something, or would I be in it for just the
experience (not really basing my decision on this, just wanted to know)?
You'd have to ask a professor; but, more than likely not.
