[Sgdc] Global Game Jam

Hey all,

If anyone's interested, the Global Game Jam is this weekend. This is an
annual game jam that is hosted by many locations around the world. You can
check out the locations near us on their website, and there's actually 5 or
6 in New Jersey. I'm supposed to be going to the one at Slingo in
Hackensack (for anyone who knows Coray Seifert or has taken his class CS
585 Intro to Game Development, this is where he's currently working), but
they have very limited space (20 people I believe), so I don't know if I
can even get in.

I've never attended a GGJ yet, so idk how it works off-site (i.e. not at
one of the hosted locations), but I'm assuming they announce the theme on
their site like Ludum Dare. However the point of GGJ is to physically go
there so I don't know if they have support for people not at the jam
locations. You can email me with any questions but I can't guarantee an
answer as this will be my first  time too.

P.S.: Next year I'll give you guys a better heads up on registering which
happens more in November/December. Sorry bout that.
