[SHPClist] No SHPC Meeting Today, UTD, Hall Brawls, MCAT Review UPDATE

Hi everyone,

Just to clarify any questions you may have, *there won't be an SHPC 
meeting today*, but look forward to *next week, 4PM, BC 122*. 

Firstly, I hope that everyone that signed up for the *CPR Course* was 
able to attend.  When the certifications are received (probably this 
week or next), they will be placed in your respective mailboxes. If you 
were not able to attend the CPR Course, but would still like to be 
certified, please contact SHPC at Stevens.edu with a request for another 
course.  If there is enough interest in a CPR course, we will begin the 
process of setting up another CPR Class.

Additionally, SHPC is looking to put together a team, or teams, for *Up 
til' Dawn*.  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital treats kids with 
catastrophic diseases at no cost to their families. Up 'til Dawn is a 
national college program that fundraises through the help of students. 
you can make a difference following four easy steps.

1. Send SHPC at stevens.edu  an email  expressing your interest in  
participating in UTD by *October 12th*.

2. Meet up *October 13th* to form teams.

2. Everyone on the team comes up with 35 names and addresses of family 
and friends.

3. Come together on *November 18th, 2009* and send out pre-written 
letters to the 35 names and addresses.
 
It's fun, easy, and for a great cause, and would be an excellent 
opportunity to get involved in SHPC and Stevens. . Help join in the 
fight, make a team and start helping the kids. *No child should die in 
the dawn of life*. "One cause, one night, OUR CAMPUS."

Additionally, if you've signed up to volunteer at *Hall Brawls*, please 
remember that it is *October 7th from 2 - 5 PM*, and that all questions 
regarding it should be directed to *Peter Movilla, PMovilla at Stevens.edu.*

Lastly, regarding the* MCAT Review Course*, please find the attached 
enrollment form.  Please print it out, and fill out the form.  As of 
now, there are 11 students signed up.  Later today, the lottery will be 
carried out.  We will assign each applicant a number from 1 - 11.  We 
will then use http://www.random.org/ to generate 3 random numbers.  If 
your name is selected, you will be notified, and directions on how to 
fill out the bottom of the form will be forwarded to you.  If you are 
not selected, the form should be filled out according to the directions 
on the sheet:

Shipping/Handling: Do not factor this into the price, the sheets will be 
collected free of charge

Once again, we will collect these forms, so do not pay the
