Dear The Stevens Health Professions Club,

I am writing to you to let you know about an academic study abroad program
that may be of interest to your Society's members.

The program is called Summer in Cyprus: Health Sciences

This summer program is a five-week academic program in Management and
Provision of Care based in Nicosia, Cyprus and hosted by the University of
Nicosia Global Semesters.

The program is designed for pre-medical, nursing, and other allied health
students who are interested in healthcare to learn about the differences in
health care management between the United States and Europe as they relate
to provision of care, funding, public health, patient education and legal
environment. Classroom work is supplemented by site visits to public and
private hospitals and rural communities.  Students will have the
opportunity to:

1) study comparative healthcare provision and management (Europe vs US,
urban vs rural, and private vs public healthcare settings) and earn 6
credits
2) live in the sunniest country in Europe - the beautiful Mediterranean
island country of Cyprus


Our advisors in New York are also happy to answer any questions, and also
to help students with their applications.  They are available from 10am to
7pm EST at 212 321 0921 x1 or by email at admissions at globalsemesters.com.

The program is discounted by $250 for any student admitted before January
15th.  Program applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and space is
limited.
