[SHRC] Meeting 3 Recap

Hello all!  Here's the recap of tonight's meeting:

*SUMOBOTS!!!* They're here and a thing now! If you're interested in
participating in the Sumobots competition, we will be starting to sign out
kits to teams NEXT WEEK. The sumobots are small, 3 inch, autonomous robots
that teams will design a "sled/plow" to be 3D printed.  Models of the
robots will be up on ducksync shortly for groups to download and use.  For

The quadcopter made progress last week and soldered a good amount of
connections and other points.  Today was spent covering the connections
between the speed controllers and moters to cover the exposed connectors.

The large robot has a chassis designed in Solidworks and today was spent
shopping for the parts needed to build it!  The motor and gear box are
still being CADed.  There's still no word on a Battlebots S3, so the team
is moving ahead to design a "weaponless demo robot."
