[SHRC] [SRC] Meeting Recap | Autonomous RC Car & Electric Longboard Projects

Stevens Robotics Club Thanks for coming out to our GBM!

Thanks for coming out to today's meeting! We made some good progress
on our *Autonomous
R/C Car* &
*Electric Longboard*!

As a reminder, this week is Unified Elections nomination period
(for positions in Fall 2019)

*The hardware team is steadily making progress - most of the components for
the chassis has been modeled. *

*Many software team members were able to successfully connect with our
Jetson TX2 and receive LIDAR data and perform SLAM using RViz! *


*The Electric Longboard project team mounted the new wheels and pulleys
onto the longboard deck and determined which additional components we would
need to get the motors rear-mounted. *
We also had some misc. progress with our iRobot bases & connecting them to
interface with ROS!
Maybe we will see a fleet of iRobots take over our club...
