[Stevens Italian Club] Casino Night, ESC Meeting, GBM Thursday, & AMICI Saturday!

Ciao a tutti,
  
 There are quite a few things going on this week. First, we still need
three volunteers for ESC's Casino Night event on October 1st. Anyone who
needs more information, or would like to participate, should reply to this
e-mail as soon as possible.
  
 The ESC is also holding their next meeting tomorrow evening, Monday,
September 27, in Babbio 104.  We hope to assign permanent representatives
from SIC at out next GBM, which will take place on the night of Thursday,
September 30, in Babbio 319.
  
 Finally, the first regional AMICI Meeting is scheduled for this Saturday
at Montclair State University. This conference is a wonderful opportuntiy
to both meet individuals and become acquainted with organizations similar
to and greater than those we have here. They will have a special guest
speaker, and will provide food and refreshments before the talk. Our group
will meet on Saturday morning and take the NJ Transit line to MSU. I have
attended before, and I recommend this event to anyone who is even
potentially interested in learning about Italian culture and
Italian-American traditions, or who may want to be involved with upcoming
events.
  
 Have a great evening, and I hope to see you all this week. Attendance was
minimal at the last meeting, which entaield only a brief introduction.
Consider this week's meeting SIC's official start for the 2010-2011 year!
