Good morning!

I just got back from sunny Hobart, Tasmania, the 2017 home of Linux Conf
Australia, where I gave a keynote called "Consider the Maintainer".

I suggest a few things:
* Open source consumption has dramatically increased, but the number of
maintainers has remained the same
* We've ignored the production side of open source for the last 10+ years
* The "four freedoms" of software apply to users; here's what the four
freedoms of producers

The role of maintainers isn't discussed enough in open source, and I'd like
