Hello, Maintainers,

Please see the note below from Sabir Khan and attached documents on two art
and architecture conferences that will have panels on maintenance and
repair. The panels sounds interesting, and I'm sure many people on list
would have something to add.

PS: This list will pick up activity this fall when I land at my new job at
Virginia Tech. The Maintainers group will have a number of new initiatives,
including producing a newsletter and re-enlivening the blog. So, stay tuned
for that. And if you have any ideas or suggestions, we'd love to hear them

hi lee,

hope you are well.  i write with a request.  this coming year i will be
chairing two paper sessions on repair and maintenance at two national
conferences:  the college art association (CAA) annual conference and the
association of collegiate schools of architecture (ACSA) annual conference
in denver.

the session descriptions, along with submission information, for both the
conferences are attached to this email.  i would be very grateful if you
would forward them to the maintainers I and II mailing lists.  it would be
fantastic to have  contributions from folks working in other disciplines
and contexts.

please let me know if you have any questions.  i look forward to hearing
from you.
