Stuart was the Engineering Project Manager at De La Rue Systems from 1969 to 1985 resulting in the creation and development of a number of bank note dispensing machines for use by retail banks on both sides of the Atlantic. Some of these inventions were really transformations of previous De la Rue teller assist devices and some were specifically developed OEM cash dispensing modules for NCR, Diebold and other European ATM manufacturers. Hence I believe this story might be of interest to computer historians and maintainers.
