collaboration with The Maintainers <https://themaintainers.org/>, has
curated a special online program for all who are passionate about *Slow
Textiles*. This unique session brings together two inspiring
voices—distinct in their paths, yet united by their shared love for mindful
making and sustainable fashion. *If you care for your clothes, your clothes
will care for you.* Join us to explore personal stories, hands-on skills,
and the deeper philosophy behind slow fashion.


Meet one of the speakers Dr Ismail Khatri

He is part of great tradition of ajrakh prints, his story resonates the
struggles of slow textiles and its harmony with the nature. Somewhere it
struck me that have less and but have natural. I’m sure many of you feel
the same.

The story doesn’t end here...I had the joy of meeting *Leslie Schroeder*
<https://www.linkedin.com/in/leslie-schroeder-4709434/>, a passionate
activist in theworld of slow textiles. She's been working extensively with
flax fibre—a material rich in history and sustainability. In Hindi, flax is
known as “alsi”, and I’m curious to explore whether it’s the same plant.
This connection between linen craft and healthy food feels deeply exciting.
