HR is sending each VP a list of division staff who have not yet completed the two trainings that have a deadline of this Friday.
I ask that you make every effort to complete the training by the deadline. Non-completion will be brought to the attention of the President and discussed at Cabinet, so please make sure that UR staff is fully compliant.

Required Title IX and Mental Health Training Completion Due Friday 12/13

To support students’ well-being and comply with applicable laws, all Stevens faculty, staff, and student workers must complete the two newly required training courses listed below by Friday, December 13, 2024. For both courses, you will be prompted to log in to Stevens’ Single Sign-On (SSO).
Please note: The Division of Human Resources notified the Offices of the President and Provost in addition to division Vice Presidents of faculty and staff who have not completed their required training as of yesterday.
Title IX: Building Supportive Communities: Clery Act and Title IX (2024)
This 60-minute course from Vector Solutions examines sexual harassment in higher education, including sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. It also covers Title IX protections for pregnancy and related conditions.
If you have not completed the required Title IX training, Vector Solutions sent you this email,<https://t.e2ma.net/click/6quf3h/6upi1cqb/270oimb> and it is not spam.
To begin this training, you can navigate to the Vector Solutions application tile in the Stevens Portal<https://t.e2ma.net/click/6quf3h/6upi1cqb/i01oimb>. Upon completion, a certificate will be available in the Vector Solutions application.

Fostering Student Mental Health (Stevens Institute of Technology)
This 30-minute course from United Educators gives an overview of the mental health challenges faced by some students in higher education. Participants will learn to identify common mental health concerns, recognize when students may need help, and connect them with resources. The course also highlights warning signs of depression and suicidality.
To begin this training, you can either access the Fostering Student Mental Health course directly<https://t.e2ma.net/click/6quf3h/6upi1cqb/el3oimb> or navigate to the United Educators application tile in the Stevens Portal<https://t.e2ma.net/click/6quf3h/6upi1cqb/ud4oimb>. Upon completion, an email with a certificate of completion will be sent to the learner.
Note: For United Educators, it is recommended to use either Chrome or Firefox to minimize issues with cookies and cache.
