[Wcpr-members] general body meeting this week

This Wednesday's meeting will be the last MANDATORY meeting for the general
body, since finals are starting next week. We will be asking for you to come
and donate a dollar or two (donations will depend on how many people come -
the more of you that show up, the less you'll need to chip in, so it's best
that many of you show up). The reason behind this is that WCPR will be
buying some small gifts (probably cookies) for the various departments
around campus that help us out and work with us - Student Life, ResLife,
Finance, Shipping, the SPD, and a few others, as a token of our gratitude.

 

Also, this Saturday night will be the last movie night of the term. I'm
sorry for not keeping it every week lately, but I have been swamped with
work and projects to take care of. In honor of the upcoming holidays, I will
be showing the wonderful piece of holiday cinema known as "Santa Claus
Conquers the Martians". The movie will start at 9:30 PM - as usual, let me
know ahead of time who is definitely coming so that I can get a sufficient
amount of food.

 

Finally, a reminder: next Thursday we will be DJing/providing commentary for
the Bowling Club's Super Bowl. There will be a Red Pin Bowling in which
anyone can come and win prizes; after that, there will be the Bowling Club's
final tournament of the semester. Pizza and soda will be there, so feel free
to show up. Please plug the event during your shows.
